The Company started in 2016 as a result of a joint venture between APM Terminals and COMPAS. After a successful six-year partnership between the two companies, in 2022 COMPAS acquired 100% of the shares of CCTO, becoming the sole owner of the port operator in order to strengthen the business in the Bay of Cartagena.
Together with a great human team focused on safety and the best results, constant work has been done on the modernization of the infrastructure and the equipment, which has increased productivity and efficiency with the highest operating standards in recent years, allowing CCTO to continue to operate different types of cargo.
